Presenter: Richa Agarwal—AI/ML Transformation Leader | Project Manager | AI Service Delivery Specialist | PMI-SME | Women in Projects Network

Event Description
Artificial Intelligence and Automation are no longer experimental technologies—they are strategic drivers of organizational change. For project professionals, this shift brings both opportunity and complexity.
In this PMI webinar, Navigating Change: AI & Automation, we will explore how AI-driven transformation reshapes delivery models, stakeholder expectations, governance structures, and risk frameworks. The focus is not just on tools but on leading change effectively in environments where automation and intelligent systems are embedded into business operations.
This webinar is designed for project managers, program leaders, PMO professionals, and transformation specialists who want to strengthen their leadership capability in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Join us for a forward-looking discussion on how to lead with confidence as AI and automation redefine the future of project management.

Power Skills CoP - Discussion about intermediate results

We face new challenges in projects every day. With this CoP, we want to take a "deep dive" into a wide range of topics from the broad field of project management across all industries and develop new approaches to tackling these issues, as well as publish them in presentations and articles where appropriate.

In this meeting, we want to start with the first topic.

English BookClub October 2026 - Agentic Artificial Intelligence

This Month’s Focus Book:  Agentic Artificial Intelligence by Pascal Bornet

Presenter: Richa Agarwal—AI/ML Transformation Leader | Project Manager | AI Service Delivery Specialist | PMI-SME | Women in Projects Network

Event Description
In this edition of the Nexus of Learning Book Club, we use Agentic Artificial Intelligence by Pascal Bornet as a springboard to explore a much bigger question: How should project leaders operate when AI systems are no longer just tools but autonomous collaborators?

Why this book for this event?
Agentic AI represents the next phase of digital transformation. Many organizations are already experimenting with generative AI, but very few are structurally prepared for systems that can reason, plan, trigger workflows, and operate with semi-autonomy. This book was selected because it shifts the conversation from AI as a capability to AI as a transformation catalyst that reshapes governance, delivery models, and leadership accountability.
You will leave with enterprise-level insights, applied perspectives, and a clearer understanding of how to lead confidently in a world where AI is becoming increasingly autonomous.

At our meetings so far last year, it has become clear that our members would like to take a closer look at the PMBOK® Guide. At the next meeting, one of our participants will give a presentation on the topic of ‘Schedule in the Performance Domains’ and show how these can be applied in projects in the life sciences sector.
Afterwards, we would like to initiate a discussion and exchange our own experiences and good practices.
