Projects rarely fail because of technology, but they often fail because of people. In this session, we dive deep into the Stakeholder Performance Domain of the PMBOK® Guide. Today, stakeholder management is no longer just a process—it is a central performance domain for value-driven project success.

Construction projects are under a lot of pressure—tight deadlines, complex stakeholders, and increasing demands for transparency and control. An effective Project Management Office (PMO) can be a decisive factor for success if it is understood not only as a reporting unit, but also as an active management and integration tool.

As PMI Germany Chapter, it is important to us to warmly welcome our new members to the chapter and inform them about current developments, exciting offers, and news from the world of project management. The world is facing changes such as digitalization, electrification in the automotive industry, and climate change. The focus is on — energy. In this respect, alternative energy generation options are becoming increasingly important, and the industry needs to reorient itself. Ein 30-minütiges Live-Experiment mit dem Xuviate Flow Simulator. Und eine Überraschung, die verändern dürfte, wie du über Portfolio-Verbesserung nachdenkst.

Alle stürzen sich gerade darauf, KI und neue Tools über die Projektarbeit zu legen. Aber was, wenn die größten Hebel längst darunter liegen, festgehalten in den Policies, die bestimmen, wie Arbeit durchs Portfolio fließt?

In nur 30 Minuten simuliert Mark Geschke ein volles Jahr (260 Arbeitstage) eines realistischen Projekt-Portfolios mit mehreren Teams. Live, im Xuviate Flow Simulator. Wir starten mit einer Baseline, die die meisten Führungskräfte sofort wiedererkennen: zu viel angefangen, zu wenig abgeschlossen, Termine, die kippen, und am Jahresende nur rund 10% des möglichen finanziellen Werts realisiert.

Dann verändern wir drei Dinge. Eines nach dem anderen:

A 30-minute live experiment with the Xuviate Flow Simulator - and a surprise that should change how you think about portfolio improvement.

Everyone is rushing to layer AI and new tooling onto project delivery. But what if the biggest gains are already sitting underneath all of that - locked up in the policies that govern how work flows through the portfolio?
