Starting with KPPM: Evolution, not Revolution
As a sequel to the successful webinar on the Kanban Project, Program, and Portfolio Management (KPPM) methodology, Xuviate, together with the PMI Germany Chapter, invites you to a more practice-oriented follow-up event. This webinar, which was designed at the request of several attendees, aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to show participants by means of a few examples what a start with KPPM could look like and what benefits one might expect within a short amount of time.
The focus will be on visualizing the work and the work system. Mark Geschke and Mathias Tölken of Xuviate will use a specially developed simulation environment to not only illustrate what an initial system could look like, but also to show how this greatly simplifies the regular work (and especially reporting) of all project participants.
The other four KPPM principles will not be neglected either, in order to ultimately make a strong case for implementing evolutionary change as opposed to an extensive "big bang" transformation.
There will be no lengthy slide decks this time, but we will rather spend a lot of time together looking at a "live" system of work in Kanbanize and answering a lot of questions from attendees. By the way, even if you are not using the Kanbanize software, the concepts are still easily transferable to other modern tools.
