Project management & PMO in construction: Between structure, risk, and reality
Construction projects are under a lot of pressure—tight deadlines, complex stakeholders, and increasing demands for transparency and control. An effective Project Management Office (PMO) can be a decisive factor for success if it is understood not only as a reporting unit, but also as an active management and integration tool.
In this webinar, you will gain practical insight into how PMO structures actually work in construction, what role risk management and tools play, and how you can successfully address organizational and interpersonal challenges. We will share experiences from real projects and show how a PMO creates stability and effectively supports projects.
This webinar will help you:
- Clearly define the role of a PMO in a construction context
- Understand how a PMO creates real added value as a management tool
- Systematically identify and address risks
- Better manage typical challenges such as silos or resistance
- Gain inspiration for the further development of your own PMO practice
