Digitalization, sustainability, artificial intelligence, BIM, new contract models, and increasing project complexity are changing the way construction projects are planned, managed, and successfully delivered.

With the international virtual Global Construction Project Management Conference 2026, the PMI Germany Chapter, together with other PMI Chapters, invites participants to a professional exchange on the future of construction project management. The event will take place on June 27, 2026, from 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CET. Participation is free of charge, the format is virtual, and the conference language is English.


The conference is organized as a cross-chapter event. Participating PMI Chapters include Galicia, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Armenia, Bolivia, and Lima, Peru. This brings together international perspectives, diverse project experiences, and a wide range of professional insights from different regions.

A special highlight of the program is the opening keynote by Raphael Ani, Global Head of Construction Markets and Growth at PMI. He will open the conference with a perspective on the future of construction project management. In his role at PMI, he is responsible for global market development for the infrastructure and construction portfolio, including the rollout of the PMI-CP certification. His contribution will set the stage for a conference focused on digitalization, innovation, artificial intelligence, and new approaches to project delivery in the construction industry.

Throughout the program, international speakers will share insights from real-world construction and infrastructure projects, current trends, and concrete lessons learned. Key topics include:
