Dear (new) members of the Berlin/Brandenburg Local Group and anyone interested in project management in the Berlin area, we invite you to our monthly meetup!

As a Local Group of the PMI Germany Chapter, it's important to us to warmly welcome our (new) members and keep them informed about current developments, exciting opportunities, and news from the world of project management.

The meetup is ideal for anyone who wants to get to know us and the work of the PMI Berlin Local Group: You'll learn who we are, what we organize, and how you can get involved and actively participate. Whether you're simply curious, want to network, or are considering getting involved yourself – come along and get to know us in person.

We want to talk to you! Ask your questions, give us feedback, and share your ideas. Your opinion matters and helps us better tailor the chapter to the needs of our community.

Construction projects are under a lot of pressure—tight deadlines, complex stakeholders, and increasing demands for transparency and control. An effective Project Management Office (PMO) can be a decisive factor for success if it is understood not only as a reporting unit, but also as an active management and integration tool.

As PMI Germany Chapter, it is important to us to warmly welcome our new members to the chapter and inform them about current developments, exciting offers, and news from the world of project management. That is why we hold our monthly welcome hour for new members—a format for exchange, insights, and participation. At this event, our new members have the opportunity to ask questions about topics that interest them in connection with the PMI Germany Chapter community. The open dialogue in the early evening is moderated by Jörg Glunde, Vice President of Membership of PMI Germany Chapter e.V., possibly together with other volunteers from the PMI Germany Chapter.

The world is facing changes such as digitalization, electrification in the automotive industry, and climate change. The focus is on — energy. In this respect, alternative energy generation options are becoming increasingly important, and the industry needs to reorient itself. Projects in particular have a special role to play here — namely, to enable these necessary innovations in the first place.
