Study Group Session: Stakeholder Engagement – The Key to Project Success (Aaron Haoua)
Projects rarely fail because of technology, but they often fail because of people. In this session, we dive deep into the Stakeholder Performance Domain of the PMBOK® Guide. Today, stakeholder management is no longer just a process—it is a central performance domain for value-driven project success.
Agenda
We will highlight the most important concepts for your PMP exam:
- Identification & Analysis: Who are the players, and how do you prioritize them effectively?
- Engagement Strategies: From passive information to active support – how to utilize the Stakeholder Engagement Assessment Matrix and modern tools (including AI approaches).
- Sponsor & Team Focus: Why the sponsor is the critical success factor and how to integrate the team as your primary stakeholder group.
- Measuring Outcomes: How to verify if your stakeholder relationships are actually contributing to project value.
