Lean-Agile CoP - Insider: How can an (agile) PMO support and promote agility and transformation?

Our Lean-Agile Community of Practice (CoP) provides a platform for you to network, share experiences and to deepen your knowledge of agile and lean practices in project management. Whether you are already using agile or lean methods in your projects, planning to introduce them, or aspiring to PMI-ACP® certification, this is the place for you.

We want the CoP to offer inspiration and deliver concrete results — real added value for PMI and its members. To this end, we have launched two new formats:

Lean-Agile CoP: Inspire
This format provides impulses, new perspectives, and food for thought on all aspects of agility through best practices, short presentations, and unique viewpoints. "Inspire" stands for inspiration to think and develop further.

Lean-Agile CoP Insider
The Lean-Agile CoP Insider format is designed to provide insider knowledge and insights on all aspects of agility.

Here, we collaborate to develop practical methods, approaches, and solutions for various industries and challenges. "Insider" stands for real added value through collaboration.

On July 03, 2025, there will be an insider meeting.

Our topic for the next Insider Meeting:

“How can an (agile) PMO support and promote agility and transformation?”

The PMO is often seen as the “guardian of the old world” – but we believe that a modern PMO can be the catalyst for real change.
Because one thing is clear: without a supportive PMO, many agile initiatives remain piecemeal. The PMO can be a bridge builder, enabler, and anchor of stability in the transformation – if it is courageous enough to evolve itself.

The exchange will be open, interactive and practice-oriented - with the aim of creating tangible results together.
