The new issue of PMimpact, the magazine of the PMI Germany Chapter, has been published—and once again highlights how dynamically the field of project management continues to evolve. As the second issue after the relaunch, it builds on the “by members, for members” concept and combines practical insights, methodological expertise, and forward-looking trends into a compact, well-structured edition.
Artificial intelligence is transforming project management—not through isolated tools, but through new ways of thinking and working. The current issue explores, among other things:
- how AI and data are fundamentally changing project management—far beyond new tools.
- where true efficiency emerges, and where an “efficiency illusion” hides systemic bottlenecks.
- why data quality, governance, and organizational maturity are essential for effective AI.
- how the role of project managers is shifting toward systemic orchestrators.
- which practical stories, recommendations, and visualizations support teams—from risk workflows to automated meeting summaries.
These contributions come directly from the PMI Germany Chapter community and reflect the diversity of industries, perspectives, and experience levels.
Community in Focus
PMimpact thrives on the engagement of its members. This issue once again features voices from across the PMI ecosystem: authors, volunteers, participants of the PM Summit and the PMI Student Hackathon, as well as members who share their expertise.
A particular highlight is the photo insights from the PM Summit and the Hackathons, showcasing the vibrancy and energy of the community.
