Starting 25 July 2023, the new Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification exam will be available to better support your career journey. By going beyond the PMBOK® Guide, the new exam will integrate content across project management, including business analysis & agile principles. Being CAPM® certified is an asset that will distinguish you in the job market and enhance your credibility and effectiveness working on — or with — project teams.
The CAPM® certification exam has evolved to better meet changing market expectations and will be live as of July 25, 2023. The new certification exam will encompass 4 domain areas based on the new CAPM® Exam Content Outline (comparable to the PMP exam, which is based on the PMP Exam Content Outline, and not solely on the PMBOK®):
- Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts
- Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies
- Agile Frameworks/Methodologies
- Business Analysis Frameworks
The new exam will include 150 questions with a 10-minute break to be completed in 3 hours. It can be taken either at a test center or as an online proctored exam.
