230512 VirtualExperienceSeries 1With more than 60,000 registrations! the Virtual Experience Series 2023 PMXPO held on March 23 was a huge success!

There were many excellent contributions in different session formats. Discussions were held on the role of PMOs in the success of projects, bringing sustainability concerns into projects, aspects of resilience in projects and organizations, and much more.

Highlights included the opening session, which featured a discussion with Nick Sonnenberg about his book "Come up for Air”. Employees of organizations drowning in work - and who doesn't - are strongly recommended to read this book and the CPR (Communication - Planning - Resources) framework presented in it (ISBN 978-1-4002-4384-6). An excellent guide to making work in organizations and in projects more efficient.

In the final panel discussion, led and moderated by Lenca Pincot (Chief of Staff Project Management Institute), Heidi Musser (Board Chair Agile Alliance), Adam Boddison (CEO Association for Project Management), Joel Carboni (President & Founder Green Project Management), Joop Schefferlie (President International Project Management Association), Americo Pinto (Chair & Founder PMO Global Alliance) and Pierre Le Manh (CEO Project Management Institute), shared,

  • how the different organizations can work together to shape the future of project management,
  • what trends are visible in project management, from the organizations' perspectives, and
  • what will be important for success in project management in the future.

Unsurprisingly, on the latter point, power skills (communication, problem solving, collaborative leadership and strategic thinking) will play a central role.

Due to the great success of the Virtual Experience Series 2023, the next edition is already planned. On June 15, 2023, thousands of people interested in project management will once again meet to hear where project management is heading, to get personal training and, as far as possible in the setting, to network and make new contacts and, incidentally, to collect PDUs.

The overarching focus of the June event is navigating the ever-changing reality. Key-Note Speaker are “Trend-Hunter” Jeremy Gutsche (LinkedIn oder Webseite: www.jeremygutsche.com/) and Jennifer Brown (LinkedIn oder Website: https://jenniferbrownconsulting.com/).

Both are authors of several books and speakers at many events. Jeremy Gutsche's topic is frameworks for innovation and change, Jennifer Brown's is leadership, culture and belonging in increasingly diverse teams.

230512 VirtualExperienceSeries 2Like the March event, attendance at the Virtual Experience Series 2023 on June 15, 2023 is free for PMI members! Non-members pay $79.
