Both require that developers and business departments understand each other and communicate well. Is this always the case? For those cases in which the exchange of ideas between the CIO and COO and often also the CFO, let's say, does not run entirely smoothly, low-code and no-code platforms are an option. These are designed to get IT into the hands of the business departments without, however, creating a shadow IT.
For the first time, we as the PMI community all over Germany are participating in the "Agile Across Europe" survey series organized by PMI Luxembourg Chapter europewide and supported by the PMI Head Office.
At the 1st Women's Regulars' Table of the PMI Germany Chapter on May 27, there will be the opportunity to network and inspire each other in a cozy atmosphere. Topics such as dealing with unconscious biases in the workplace, balancing family and PM career, and the benefits of a good network can be discussed in a confidential setting. We are also looking forward to launching the Germany Chapter's Women's Initiative at this event.
The diversity of the events offered by the Germany Chapter is also reflected in two ways in May:
On the occasion of Diversity Day, we are continuing our series of events dedicated to the wide-ranging topic of diversity with a moderated discussion around the topic of diversity in the work of our association.
We are very much delighted to introduce our most recent initiative, the first of its kind in Europe. With PMI Germany Chapter’s cooperation, students of RTWH Aachen University built the Academic Forum Aachen (AFA).
Every new member in the PMI Germany Chapter – whether coming from a merged chapter or as completely new member – received a welcome flyer in the letter mail to welcome them.
The PMI Germany Chapter is especially proud that it even sent a Welcome Flyer to all of its 121 members abroad in 31 different countries, as long as they provided a correct address on pmi.org. The restriction with the correct postal address also applies to members in Germany - so to some really no flyer could be sent.
And this is how our foreign members are distributed:
Whether you’re a seasoned project manager or new to the field, PMXPO provides an excellent opportunity to learn, earn 10+ PDUs to maintain your certification, broaden your perspective on project management, and connect with your global project management community.
