Member Meeting Online - PMI Germany Chapter - May 2026 - Focus: Chapter Operations
As PMI Germany Chapter, it is important to us to regularly inform our members about current developments, exciting offers and news from the world of project management. That's why we organize our online member meeting every three months - a format for exchange, insights and participation.
This time, our Vice President Operations, Thomas Zimmermann, shares insights into the chapter’s focus areas within the context of Operations.
Operations goes far beyond what many may initially assume—namely, the provision of a cyber‑secure IT infrastructure and the licensing of tools to support the work of volunteers and the board within the chapter.
It also includes the establishment of a strategic PMO, ensuring transparency across all services and products offered to our members, as well as measuring our impact through associated KPIs.
In addition, we take a look at our current priority initiatives and highlight how and where volunteers can actively contribute.
Our members' meeting is not a one-way street - we want to get into conversation with you! Ask your questions, give us feedback and contribute your ideas. Your opinion counts and helps us to tailor the chapter even better to the needs of our community.
We are looking forward to many participants and the exchange of ideas!
