Over the past few months, we’ve held three roundtable sessions and a two-part group working session, where we gathered real project experiences from our members. Since our community includes professionals from various areas within the life sciences sector, our goal was to better understand the different types of projects and programs represented in our group.

From these shared experiences, we created a collection of Project Profiles and began analyzing them by categorizing and simplifying the data. Our aim is to uncover common patterns, identify frequent challenges, and connect them to the PMBOK® knowledge areas. This will help us discover how established project management practices can address everyday challenges in life sciences and guide us in defining best practices together.

We’re now preparing for our next round of group activities, starting in late August and running through October, where we’ll build on the insights gathered so far. These activities will lead up to an exciting final presentation event in November, where we’ll showcase our results and ideas for the future.
