“Project Execution Master Plan" of WECF successfully completed
After two years of cooperation between the non-profit association WECF and the Social Responsibility Program of the PMI Germany Chapter, the introduction of the project management manual "Project Execution Masterplan" was successfully completed. In particular, the focus has been on the introduction and establishment of project management standards in WECF’s department of "Energy & Climate."
The cooperation partner, WECF e.V. Germany, is a non-profit association based in Munich and is a member of the international network WECF (WECF stands for Women Engage for a Common Future, Link: https://www.wecf.org), which includes more than 150 women's, environmental and health organizations that carry out projects in 50 countries – with the goal of creating a just, sustainable, and healthy environment for all.

PMBOK® 7 Series of PMI Germany Chapter - Servant Leadership
PMBOK® 7 Series of PMI Germany Chapter – new year, new topics
On August 01 2021, the new PMBOK® 7 went on open sale, members could download it as a personal copy already since the beginning of July as a PDF. Therefore, the PMI Germany Chapter had organized a series on the new PMBOK® edition to accompany the new publication.
Our series on PMBOK® Guide 7 is intended to give our members and other interested parties an understanding of the new PMBOK® Guide and to answer your open questions about it. First of all, three grandees of project management in Germany had started the series by taking a closer look at different aspects of PMBOK® Guide 7 and discussing them with you. The extension announced for the end of the year 2021 with four more highly interesting lectures in German language led to a true attendance record at the last event with the lecture of Jörg Vanhoefer "Project Management in Transition - Hybrid Recipes from 2 Worlds" with 60 participants out of 79 registered, which was above the usual no-show rate of 50% for online events.
And now we continue with an absolute novelty.
Study Group - Tutors for CAPM / PMP Learning Group Wanted
You have just passed your PMP exam? Or you have been PMP certified for some time and are now looking for PDUs for your upcoming re-certification? Or do you just enjoy using your extensive PMBOK knowledge to support the next generation of CAPMs / PMPs in their upcoming exam preparation?
Then we are looking for you as a tutor for our CAPM / PMP learning group, which will start soon. In 12 weekly 1-hour video/telephone conferences, questions on the individual topics of the PMBOK Guide will be discussed. You don't necessarily need to create documents yourself - we can draw from a large pool. Don't worry - it's not about a training with frontal sprinkling, but about interactive learning support, and ideally the participants help each other.
