Community of Practice "Enterprise Agility for SMEs" – A New Name with a Clear Mission
Our former Community of Practice "Pragmatic Multi-Project Management for SMEs" has been renamed "Enterprise Agility for SMEs."
This is much more than a name change. It reflects our true mission: translating the PMI Enterprise Agility Manifesto into a pragmatic approach that helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make better decisions, allocate resources more effectively, and respond faster to change. Project Portfolio Management is not the objective itself—it is the means to achieve Enterprise Agility.

PMI Releases New Standard for Artificial Intelligence in Project Management
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the way organizations manage portfolios, programs, and projects. The PMI Pulse of the Profession® 2026 Report Has Been Released
Why do even professionally managed projects increasingly struggle with complexity, uncertainty, and constant change? And what sets apart the organizations that continue to deliver successful outcomes?
The new PMI Pulse of the Profession® 2026 Report explores exactly these questions. It provides compelling insights into how project management is evolving—from a primary focus on planning and control toward the ability to understand complex systems, balance stakeholder needs, and remain effective in the face of uncertainty.
New issue of PMimpact published: Sustainability in project management
The new issue of PMimpact, the magazine of the PMI Germany Chapter, has been published. This time, the focus is on a topic that is increasingly shaping project management in many organizations: sustainability.
Sustainability has long been more than just an additional project objective. It influences decisions, priorities, communication, stakeholder expectations, and the question of how impact is defined in projects in the first place. This is exactly where the new issue comes in: it shows how project management can support, structure, and make sustainable transformation effective.
