Volunteering drives impact – why engagement is the key to strong project management communities
April at PMI is dedicated to volunteering. A good opportunity to focus on what lies at the core of our community: engagement. With the new role of Vice President Volunteering, this topic is now also more firmly anchored organizationally within the PMI Germany Chapter. The increased focus on volunteer engagement highlights its central importance for the continued development of our community. The PMI Germany Chapter is growing – and with it, the opportunities to get involved, connect, and shape things together. This growth does not happen automatically. It is built on people who take responsibility and are willing to invest their time and energy in the community.

Mentees wanted: Mentoring for building a Project Management Office
You are planning to establish a Project Management Office or you are just at the beginning of the journey.
The mentoring program of the PMI Germany Chapter is dedicated to the mission of fostering knowledge, orientation, and the exchange of best practices when building Project Management Offices.
A Project Management Office (PMO) is an organizational unit that creates standards, methods, and transparency in project management. Especially when setting up a PMO, many questions arise: What responsibilities does a PMO take on? How can it be successfully introduced within a company? Which structures actually work in practice?
